What is the difference between UI and UX Design?

There are very few designers who have not heard of UI and UX design. Even if you can’t remember the name of your girlfriend. if I say you, what design do you want to learn? Then jump up and say “UI / UX Design.

UI / UX design is the passion of many. But most do not know what these are. If I ask anyone what is UI / UX? Its simple answer, web and mobile apps design. Some developers now claim to be UI / UX developers.

UI Design means User Interface Design. You can also call it visual design or graphic design. In short, the interface is the scene we see around us with our eyes. So when designing something, we make proper use of colors, fonts, shapes, patterns, textures, etc. to look at the interface. That is the user interface design.

Everything you see in your daily life, from the clothes you use to what you see, is included in the UI design. However, the design sector is different or the name is different. Different designs have different names according to the work environment. Such as Fashion Design, Branding Design, Print Design, 2D Design, 3D Design, Label Design, Poster Design, Banner Design, Logo Design, Icon Design, Web Design, Mobile App Design, Software Interface Design, Assembly Design, etc. But the exterior of all designs includes visual design or UI design.

The element of Visual Design/UI Design

  1. Color
  2. Line
  3. Shape
  4. Texture
  5. Typography
  6. Form

Principles of Visual Design/UI Design

  1. Unity
  2. Balance
  3. Contrast
  4. Proportion
  5. Hierarchy
  6. Dominance
  7. Similarity

UI works with the interface and UX works with production from start to finish. When you make your design easy to use for the designer who will use it, you will be able to solve all the problems of practical time. Then that design will be User-Friendly Design

You are the designer, so Design is your product. You are the author of the book, so the book is your product. You are the chairmaker, so the chair is your product. You are the pen maker, so the pen is your product. You are a shoemaker, so shoes are your product. You are an aircraft manufacturer, so aircraft is your product. You are a rocket maker, so rocket is your product. You make mugs, so mugs are your product. You are a watchmaker, so watches are your product. You are the maker of the table, so the table is your product. That way, you create a web theme, so that theme is your product. You are the creator of software, software is your product. You design the theme, so that design is your product.

When you want to create your product, the first thing you will need is the product-related information. Suppose you make a computer table. Then you need detailed information about the table. Table height, width, etc. When you build a table, it becomes a product.

But when you set the computer up on the table, you noticed that you didn’t make any holes to connect the cables from the CPU to the monitor. There are no holes to connect the cable from the keyboard to the CPU. Then that table design will be Bad UX Product.

But when you have collected the information to design the table. Then if those who are using computer tables, by talking directly to a user or user, what are the problems to be faced while using them, they would determine the problems in advance, solve the problems and design the table. Then that table would be User-Friendly Design.

And in this total process, the design of the table is part of the UI. The rest is part of UX if you understand it properly. We hope you understand what UX is, what UI is, and what product design is.

Let’s not know now, what processes need to know or keep in mind to make a product User Friendly. In a word, what are the processes of UX design?

The things that UX works with

  1. Information Architecture
  2. Sketch
  3. Prototype
  4. UI Design
  5. Accessibility
  6. Credibility
  7. Usability
  8. Development

These processes have many more branches. Besides, the product design must have some features in the product:

  1. The product is useful
  2. The product is usable
  3. The product is findable
  4. The product is credible
  5. The product is accessible
  6. The product is desirable
